Judith Allen

Judith Allen obtained her PhD from UC Berkeley in 1991 and went to Imperial College, London for her postdoc. She moved to Edinburgh University in 1995 and is currently Professor of Immunobiology at the School of Biological Sciences. Her laboratory studies the immune response to metazoan parasites and is best known for its work on the biology of Th2-activated macrophages. Judi has a particular interest in the practical and evolutionary relationship between type 2 immunity and wound repair pathways.
